Inspiring Entrepreneurs and Startup Success in Malaysia

Omni X, is a startup success programme developed by our Managing Director, Rob in collaboration with our friend, Patricia Marks, CEO of Sba (https://sbacommunities.org/) and Rei Tham, Founder of Omni Consultancy, a Malaysia based pitch development and investment consultancy.

Last month, the Omni X programme completed its first cohort in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The cohort consisted of 16 exciting startups led by young, exciting and ambitious fledgeling entrepreneurs who completed 15 business education workshops and culminated in the investor pitch showcase hosted by TAR UMT (Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology)

Omni X was underpinned by our business intelligence of the biggest challenges experienced by startups being; not having the right team; not having an adequate understanding to meet the needs of the market; and running out of cash and/or failing to gain investment. As a result, the programme was designed to provide business startups and ambitious entrepreneurs with the knowledge, support and tools they need to succeed and thrive.

A story starting with a chance meeting…

The Omni X story started with a chance meeting in Singapore between Rei Tham, founder of Omni Consultancy (Malaysia), Patricia Marks, founder and CEO of sba Worldwide, and  Rob Cao, founder of Dynamiq Group. The three entrepreneurs quickly realised that not only did they share common values and a vision of how do do business, but also shared a passion for supporting, empowering and inspiring businesses and startups and thriving communities.

And so Omni X was borne with a mission to share expert business knowledge and insights curated worldwide to empower startups and fledgling businesses with outstanding business intelligence, robust resilience maximising opportunities for successful funding and investment.

The programme consisted of 3 key pillars – DYNAMIQ’s ‘Elev8te‘ training programme; Sba’s Advance! proprietary profiling system and Omni Consultancy’s pitch development expertise. As a result, all three were combined to underpin one world class training programme.
