Promise Inclusion Charity Brand Launch
Back in November, we were delighted to launch the new branding for Promise Inclusion (PINC) – the new name for Wokingham, Bracknell and Districts MENCAP.
We recorded this short 1-minute promo in dire weather but it was great fun on the day with local press present to cover the launch – here’s one of the articles from Wokingham News – https://www.wokinghampaper.co.uk/promise-inclusion-launch-new-name-and-branding/
“The name and logo change really brings us into the 21st century. By modernising our image, we hope to better support our younger members. We’ve had some really positive feedback about losing the MECAP name.” – Jill Ward, Chair of Trustees
Joint CEOs, Heather Young and Mary Durman have been involved with the charity for years. Heather was one of the founding trustees 22 years ago, and Mary has been with the charity for 16 years. We’re so proud to have worked with them and proud of how brave they have been in driving positive change for the charity from WBDM to Promise Inclusion in such a short space of time at a time where the brand really needed a shot in the arm and the association with the MENCAP brand was providing more challenges than benefits.
“The old name has also meant we have struggled to get funding, as people think we are nationally funded by the national MENCAP group, but that’s not the case. What we really want is funding for a family liaison officer. When the groups from Wokingham and Bracknell meet up, children are often astonished to know there are other people like them in the area.” Heather Young, Joint CEO
“Our new logo is about empowering people. We’re here to help people take control of their own lives.” Mary Durman, Joint CEO
We recently caught up with Mary and Heather for a client Q&A as part of our Hey! Series. You can watch that video here: https://dynamiqgroup.co.uk/2019/12/04/marketing-client-interviews-promise-inclusion-hey-series-testimonials/
